Intelligence Squared Asia is proud to host its next debate in Hong Kong, “Money Can’t Buy Happiness." The event will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, on Friday 30 September 2011.
IQ2 Asia, the region’s premier forum for live debate, will present leading voices from the fields of science, philosophy and well-being in a thought-provoking debate about the pursuit of wealth and its relationship to happiness. Among other topics, this debate will raise questions about the link between being rich and being happy, what constitutes happiness, whether economic prosperity is key to personal satisfaction - or to political stability, and if so, what the policy implications should be.

Professor A. C. Grayling – acclaimed British author and philosopher, founder of the New College of the Humanities, London
Dr. Stefan Klein – best-selling German author of The Science of Happiness and influential science writer

Ping Lu – prominent Taiwan diplomat, novelist and commentator
Lewis Iwu – founding mentor Debate Mate, former President of the Oxford Student Union and World Universities Debating Champion 2008
